TOUR CONDITIONS

Air Transportation:
From Newark, JFK or London using Air Malta, Olympic Airways or Virgin Air or any other IATAN carrier, depending on the Destination(s). All air tickets are based on special economy class fares. Hotels:
Are based on double occupancy per person at hotels listed. All rooms are with private facilities. The Tour Operator reserves the right to change any hotel listed with one of similar category should circumstances necessitate.

Meals:
As mentioned specifically in the individual packages. Breakfast daily. Hotel Taxes:
Included

Transfers and Portage:
Transfers between airports, hotels and piers are included throughout, including the portage for two standard size suitcases per person, to/from hotel entrance, except if otherwise mentioned in the particular Tour. Excursions and Sightseeing:
By deluxe motor coach per local schedules, not necessarily on the order of the itineraries or the days frequencies listed with English speaking guide, including all entrance fees and meals where provided by the itinerary.

Tipping:
It is not mandatory, however, always expected for personal services rendered. For example hotel bellman $1.00 - $ 2.00 per piece of luggage, waiters $1.00-$2.00 per full meal, chambermaid $1.00 per room per day. Not Included:
Tips, passport, visa handling fees, baggage insurance, laundry, wines, mineral waters. After dinner coffee and tea, food other than the meals specifically mentioned as well as all other items of a personal nature, U.S. International Transportation Tax and Departures Taxes as well as any airfares not indicated in the itinerary, also gratuities on any cruise.

Cancellation Insurance:
Travel and Cancellation Insurance is available through your Travel Agent and is recommended for all participants. Health Status:
It is the responsibility of the traveler to have the proper medication with them for any medical condition that he/she might have. The operator or your travel agent bears no liability.

General Information:

Passports:
Every participant of any of our tours must be in the possession of a valid U.S. Passport, or proof of citizenship. If you are not an American Citizen, check with your travel agent for VISA requirements. Airport Taxes at Printing:

Reservations and Deposits:
Reservations are made upon receipt of a deposit in the amount of $250.00 per person or 20% of the tour if a cruise is included. No reservation is considered "firm" until such deposit is received by the tour operator. The balance is due no later than 45 days prior to departure in order to assure timely receipt of the final documents. Currency:
Prices are based on U.S.A. dollars. Fluctuation of the various currencies, however might effect prices.

Deposits and Cancellation Policies:

Reservation requests less than 60 days before departure must be given a credit card guarantee of $100.00 (non refundable, if space requested is secured and not accepted).
All changes after confirmations are charged $50.00 each.

Reserved Cancellations:

$250.00 per person, cancellation fee, after confirmation is sent and deposit received, or authorized by credit card. This applies to land and/or air reservations.
In addition any charges imposed by the airlines, cruise companies or hotel and land operators overseas may apply.

90 days before departure 25% cancellation charge.
60 days before departure 50% cancellation charge.
45 days before departure 75% cancellation charge.
30 days before departure 100% cancellation charge.

Once balance has been received by M.D.L.
NO REFUNDS are due after ticketing and vouchers issued.

Responsibility:

The Travel Agent and/or the Tour Operator, Mediterranean Destinations, Ltd (M.D.L.) act only as Agent for various Companies, Owners or Contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodation, and other services.
All exchange orders, coupons, and tickets issued, subject to the terms and conditions under which such means of transportation, accommodation, and other services are offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such tickets shall not be in anyway liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, which may be occasioned either by defect or irregularity in any vehicle, or through the acts of defaults of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers, or of any hotel proprietor, personnel or servant otherwise in connection therewith. Each exchange coupon, order and ticket are to be regarded as one contracted by or on behalf of the particular company or person named in it.

The passenger contract in use by the airline company concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the Purchaser of these tours and/or Passenger and the airline concerned. The airline companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The right is reserved to withdraw any tour announced in this program and to make such alterations to the itinerary as may be found desirable for the conveyance of the parties and the proper carrying out of the tours. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for passengers comfort and welfare, or for any reason whatsoever to alter the arrangements or itineraries, such alterations may be made without penalty of the operators. Additional expenses, if any shall be borne by the passengers.

The right is also reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at anytime. The Tour Operator is not responsible to accommodate or pay for any causes beyond his control, like strikes, changes in charter of scheduled service dates of departure or return. The passenger shall pay for those extra services.

This program is issued on the sole responsibility of the Tour Operator. It is not issued on behalf of and does not commit the airline mentioned therein or any airline whose services are used in the course of the tours.

The services of any I.A.T.A.N carrier may be used.

All fares and land arrangements are subject to changes.
